The Catfish Festival started as a small-town gathering and grew into the biggest day on the calendar for South Franklin Parish. Families spread out on the lawn. Friends run into friends they haven't seen since last May. Kids chase the mascot through the vendor booths.
Fried catfish from Haring's. Live music on the main stage. Classic cars parked along the street. The Art & Flower Show running all day. This is Wisner at its best.
